Something I haven’t done in a long time – a disco show (at least, Gulls Window Circus version of a disco show). If you think you hate disco, please listen: there is so much great music hiding under that much-maligned label. The best in that genre has an undeniable magical quality and is absolutely infectious. The Les Troubadours Du Roi Baudouin, Chuck Mangione and Salsoul Orchestra trio of tracks are must hears, and the Al Kent closer is for-tears.

California 70s for the most part, or stuff that owes some feel to that. Both LA and the Bay Area are covered. Also Memphis (Jim Dickinson), New York (The Band), Brisbane (Robert Forster), plus England (The Animals, America, East Village, Beck, Bogert & Appice, Syd Barrett, Beverley, Blind Faith, Anne Briggs, Michael Chapman) – wow!- I guess a lot of England. But the sound is California. Hope you like the show.

Ambient music show. The Blue Gas track is a must hear, with a Walk On The Wild Side sliding bass part and other familiar elements, but woven in a unique way. Relax and enjoy!

Rock show – starts with punk rock from late 80s through mid 90s, then spreads tendrils into other eras and sounds for content and love of the songs. Fave moments are the three back-to-back tracks of Leaving Trains, Inger Lorre and E.Coli. Song that is sticking in my head is Dirty Looks ‘Let Go,’ also loving the Hanoi Rocks track.
