The eighth of nine all 7″ singles shows on Gulls Window Circus. Oddities include: The Vanitys, which is a one-off precursor to the duo Science Fiction. Tony, an English band that only released one 7″ in 1996. They get the award for least-findable on the internet… The Tights had the catchy track ‘Howard Hughes’, but we will hear the much different sounding B-side. Other great singles here are from To Damascus, Those Naughty Lumps, Überhund, Vinyl Devotion, Would-Be-Goods, XXX, and The Yardleys. Several releases from the singles clubs we have covered in earlier shows round out another strong show in this series.

Some prime finds here, including Red House & post-Red House band NNB, a very different sounding 2023 PIL single, the found 2023 Queen track released as a single, a Ramones track not on any record or single (except this one), the Pittsburg band he Pundits, the Boston bands Primitive Romance and Walter Noons, one-off team up of 2 Only Ones members with Robert Palmer as ‘Palmer, Perry, Kellie’, Todd Rundgren covering Squeeze, and other delights.
