The second week of ‘proggy rock’ on Gulls Window Circus. Only three USA artists this week [Holding Pattern, Moondog, Ram], so you get to travel around the world with the circus, enjoying prog sounds by bands typically associated with rock (Nektar and The Alan Parsons Project aside). Just as BOC gave us a prog-like moment on the Bad Channels soundtrack last week, Jimmy Page will make you say ‘wow’ on his Death Wish II soundtrack. Make sure to hear Connecticut’s Holding Pattern and Long Island’s Ram as well.

The first of the three week ‘proggy rock’ series on Gulls Window Circus, where we hear (mostly) 70s rock bands exercising their right to go prog on certain tracks. The Netherlands bring George Baker Selection and Focus, Australia brings Cybotron, Belfast brings Fruupp, Lisbon brings Gala Drop, Paris brings Gong, Germany brings Faust, Cardiff brings Budgie, plus we have lots of English and US bands as well.
